Upon onboarding, new employees should use this document to set expectations with their managers. This applies not only to new joiners, but also to internal hires and job changes.

Why is this important?
Context Setting → alignment on what is important and what is required to have an impact in moving the business forward
Clarity around work and priorities → understanding of where to shift or keep focus
Eliminate doubt → enables written expectation setting and check-ins to eliminate doubt and make it easier to ask questions - the shared ownership of progression

Ask around: who shall I meet? Once you have a meeting with someone new, ask, “who else do you recommend me meeting in the company?”. Keep asking until you stop getting any new names :D
